When one or both of the kids come up to me and say
I LOVE YOU Mommy!
Even better when they follow up with hugs and kisses.
My heart melts.
My head spins.
And then I fall..
Never mind that they probably don't know
the real meaning of their words.
But their actions?
They say it all ;)
And now,
you may continue on...
Awww!
ReplyDeleteNow you know what I feel when you say "I love you mom" to me and then you follow with some hugs and kisses, the feeling of elation is so powerful! And of course when Nattie and Noah tells me "I love you g-ma with those smiles and kisses, they melt my heart. I look forward to that every Sunday... gets me thru the coming week. Love you all so much!!!!

I now know this feeling as just in the past couple of weeks the boys have started saying this. It's something you long to hear and then when it's happening there is no sweeter words. These kids are worth everthing!

Hey now, don't think for one minute that they don't know what I love you means. 2 year olds are brilliant. I know when Ariana gives me hugs/kisses and tells me she loves me, or "I love you too," she means it. Noah and Natalia mean it to. Besides, what's not to love?!?!
