Interviews are for VIB's...

So naturally I got one!

I'm a Very Important Blogger, self proclaimed but that's not the point. And since I'm "oh so important" I only granted my exclusive interview to a fellow VIB. No one other than the awesome Elizabeth!

1. Why were you given your particular name?

-Good one! My Mommy is a reader, like myself, and found a variation of it in a book. The heroine's name I *think* was spelt Shanie and she changed it up just for me. You know, cause I'm unique and all lol. That's probably why I always picture myself as the heroine in all the books I read....

2. What were/are your favorite subjects in school?

- Does lunch hour count? If yes then that's my first! In college I loved Psychology and Astronomy, I find them to be very fascinating. And in order of preference the general subjects would be as follow:
* History, the teacher was great and had me fooling myself that I enjoyed it as much as he did. I took it for 3 years just cause I wanted to know what happened next, now I know about Google so I wont be making that mistake again.
* English, I liked bettering myself. And...
* Math, I loved formulas and graphs but I'm not too good at simple math without a calculator. Sad but true. Please don't judge me before you get some complicated formulas and go head to head with me, Ok? Ok!

3. Are you a cat or a dog person?

- I like both in their own ways but I guess I'm more a dog person. We had a cat but Jeff was allergic so I'm not having anything that will harm my Honey. That and I couldn't stand the cat hair all over the place. Milo, the kitty, knew he could take advantage when we weren't home and got all over the bed and couch. He didn't realize he left evidence, silly cat. On the other hand I think tiny dogs are the cutest things, they are playful and they wont hurt Jeff. I had one when I was younger and eventually we might get a Toy Yorkie.

4. Do you believe in extraterrestrials or life on other planets?

- I did, I do, I will. It's impossible for me to believe that we are the only ones in the entire universe and time. If our sun is a star and it keeps Earth going, why wouldn't there be other stars (from the billions) doing the same for other planets that might have gotten hit with the parts of the same meteor that *probably* brought water to us? And created life starting with bacteria and so on? I know some would say that God created only Earth and us, but I believe its the same God who created the Universe so why wouldn't he create others too? This is my opinion and I respect others who don't believe this.

I did say I loved Astronomy, didn't I? I can go on and on about this but I'll stop now =)

5. What do you do most often when you are bored?

- My number one boredom killer is reading. Mostly books but I can find lots on the Internet too... believe me!

If you would like to play along here are the directions:

1. Leave me a comment & your e-mail address saying, "Interview me." If you dare.

2. I will respond by emailing you five questions. (I get to pick the questions).

3. You will update your blog with the answers to the questions.

4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.

5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions. The first five 'askers' get the interview!

  4. I enjoy reading good books, but I have to limit myself. If I find a book that I really like, I will stop everything in my world to read it cover-to-cover!

Go ahead & hit me with your questions. I ain't skeered. Maybe I should be!
